Series Review: Good Mythical Morning

Jacquelyn Northcutt, Writer

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is go onto YouTube to see the newest episode of “Good Mythical Morning”. “Good Mythical Morning” is a show that is posted by YouTubers Rhett and Link, who are known for their hilarious music videos that are posted to one of their other channels. “Good Mythical Morning” is posted every weekday morning at around 3:00 am PST, so you can watch it as soon as you wake up.

Rhett and Link host the show themselves, and they have answered some questions that needed answering such as: Do iPhones deep fry? Will sawdust make a good popsicle? Can you carve a turkey with a sword? Team Waffle or Team Pancake? These are just some episodes out of the many.

At the end of each episode, they spin “The Wheel of Mythicality”, which has skits suggested by viewers for them to act out. They have a segment on Tuesdays called “That Escalated Quickly”, during which they travel to their fans houses to answer their questions. On Thursdays, they open mail from Mythical Beasts (Mythical Beasts is the name they gave to their fans). They also have had some celebrities on the show such as Daniel Radcliffe, PewDiePie, and Hannah Hart.

Not only do you get an average of 10 minutes per episode, but you can go onto their third channel for “Good Mythical MORE”, which offers an additional 10 minutes of their timeless comedy.  The show is extremely family-friendly. They never curse or do anything inappropriate. “Good Mythical Morning” is a great, fun way to start off your morning. If you have time, I’d highly recommend watching it.
