On August 08, 2014, Five Nights at Freddy’s was released as demo for computers. It was such a big hit that Scott Cawthon, the game’s creator, decided to release it as a full game for the Pc, and phone. On September 11, 2014, Five nights at Freddys was released for phones as a demo. If you have an Apple product that is not the 5th generation or above, then this will not work sadly, it works however, for Androids and some smart phones or tablets.

You must survive 6 hours as a security officer during the graveyard shift. You play as a man named Mike Schmidt, who took a summer job as a security officer for Freddy Fazbear’s, a place similar to Chuck E Cheese’s. Mike’s predecessor leaves a voicemail on the first night explaining what you need to do. The animatronic characters who bring the entertainment and the customers joy walk around during night; they cannot walk around during the day, because if they do, their servo motors will lock up. The animatronic names are Chica the chick, Bonnie the bunny, Foxy the Pirate Fox, and Freddy Fazbear, who is the leader.

During the night however, they can roam freely, but, if they encounter a human, they will immediately assume they are a robot without a costume and “Stuff” them back into a spare costume, killing the person in the process. So one must be on the watch for the animatronics that may come to the security room. You can’t leave the security room, but you have doors, cameras, and lights that work…somewhat. Because of budget cuts however, you only have limited amount of power to use. If you run out of power, the doors will open, the lights will go out, leaving you defenceless and the animatronics may sneak up on you and kill you .

The cameras you have, you can use them to check the hallways and rooms; each robot has a certain movement pattern. We suggest checking them often, for if you don’t, one will come running to you, killing you instantly. Can you get through all five nights without running out of power or being stuffed into a costume?

“Five Nights at Freddy’s” was created by Scott Cawthon. This game was meant to frighten you and make you jump. The genre is indie point-and-click survival horror video game. Not only will it make you jump and scream, but you will also never want to go to Chuck E Cheese again. The famous YouTuber Markiplier named it the scariest game in years. We encourage you to play the famous video game because it is so scary, it’s fun. We give this video game 9 stars out of ten, because we enjoyed it so much, but it was a bit too scary. We dare you to play this video game; maybe you’ll even unlock the 6th night, and a bonus level that lets you customize your own night. Can you survive “Five Nights at Freddy’s”?
