Winter break is over and all the students have to go back to school. For some of them, it’s a downer, but most of them are excited to get back and see all of their friends. Parents are happy because their children are going back to school and getting an education. Teachers probably not as excited as the other people, because it’s their job and nobody likes working.

The reason why some students aren’t excited is because they are thinking of all the sleep they will be missing, all the video game time, all the going out with friends during what should be school hours and most of all not having to sit in six classes each for an hour. Students like this don’t think that they should be away from school for two weeks then go back, expected to focus, and not be tired. Part of the problem that makes students like this is during break they stay up all night and fall asleep in the morning; they get used to this schedule which causes them to be tired when they have to switch back to their normal school schedule.

Most students are excited to go back to school because  they get to see their friends every day and because every day they go to school is another day closer to their graduating. The rest of the reasons are a mystery. Best wishes for second semester.

I agree. I myself don’t quite like the shift to school, but it’s just something you gotta do.
