Attacks in Nigeria left 52 dead and 114 injured within 24 hours. The attacks suspected  Boko Haram militants. Three female suicide bombers detonated their explosives and killed 30 people at a market in Madagali, on Monday morning, reported the Free Republic.

Sunday in Maiduguri, Nigerian troops  battled armed Boko Haram fighters attempting to enter the city that left 21 people dead and 91 wounded. CNN reported that the Nigerian troops spotted a group of armed Boko Haram fighters trying to cross a trench to get into the Jiddari Polo in the area of maiduguri and the troops opened fire.

CNN also reported that the city had been fortified with trenches to prevent attacks by Boko Haram. Some of the Boko Haram have managed to cross the trenches without being spotted and engaged soldiers with guns and explosives. The later attacks were when the three suicide bombers detonated their explosives, killing 30 people and injuring 16.
