Prom is a wonderful experience that everyone should try to go. This year prom was held at the airplane museum “The Planes of Fame” in Chino on Saturday, May 11. Monte Carlo was the theme, so there was gaming tables where a person could gamble all their pretend money.

The food was fantastically bland, and the tables to eat were too close to each other. You had the choice of two different types of pasta, chicken, and tri tip, with a bread roll. Also, if you wanted a drink, you had to go stand in a completely different line that was also full of people. The only good thing that happened was when they pulled out the dessert, which was snacks like pretzels sticks and rice crispy treats that you dipped in chocolate, and chocolate is always good. The lines to get the food were long and annoying. Everyone dressed so nicely, and it was fun to gamble our fake money away. Unless you were bad at gambling, then that sucks. When you walked into the venue, they handed you a fake $100 bill and told you there were tables inside.

The dance floor was loud, and outside was cold, so there was no in between. If you even wanted to talk with your friends than you had to go outside because you hardly could hear anything. There was a photo booth where you chose props to dress up in and take three pictures. The lines for that was generally small. If you wanted to sing your heart out, there was also karaoke.

It was fun to dance with friends, although a majority of girls took off their shoes because by that time, shoes were the enemy. Our prom king and queen were Selena and Fousto, but they still made all the candidates dance together.

Even though prom had its problems, it was still a wonderful night. The stars were bright, the air was full of laughter, and the bus was really nice. The bus even had a bathroom, so it was fancy.
