On August 29, 2014 our Granite Hills football team had their first game against Yucca Valley High School. Our football players played hard and Varsity won 63 to 0! Good going Cougars!

Wide receiver Trevor Mancha had 2 catches for 118 yards including a 77 yard touchdown. Defence pitched a shutout for the first time since 2010! Trever Smith also making a touchdown for 47 yards, leading his team with 8 tackles pushing them back 23 yards.

In the end Cougars’ line blocked successfully,  helping offence to reach a total of 578 yards! Great job Cougars! All of your hard work definitely paid off! Your dedication to the football team is amazing!

We are proud of our team, our coaches, and our school for the amazing support they give. And don’t forget to come to all the games to cheer on for our team!
