Many teens have either anxiety or depression, and maybe some people even both. Having both is like having one voice in your head saying, “You’re such a useless loner.” But you can’t go and talk to people because your anxiety is telling you, “Let’s just stay away from people, They judge you.” The next thing you know you’re stuck in your own hole of depression. I understand this feeling and maybe more than that. Yet despite all my disorders, I am able to deal with all of it, without cutting, drinking, or doing drugs. It’s simple, so simple that so many miss it. Some doctors even miss this solution and just hand you a bottle of medicine that wouldn’t help most people in the least.
In fact, sometimes medical solutions just make it worse. Some sufferers are put in Special Ed for their problems, along with other people who have disorders or diseases they can’t control. I have done a lot of medical research along with some simple experiments on me with doctor’s permission. I don’t take medicine for my anxiety or depression anyways. Last week I wrote about one way to help anxiety that the doctors might’ve missed, now as promised, here’s a way to help depression
Depression is probably even worse than anxiety. It gives you that little voice telling you that you aren’t worth anything when you are. Everyone is born for a purpose, a reason. As you know people are searching for a natural way to relieve depression. It’s hard to find but there are ways. In fact, many ways. But this week, I’m only sharing one of them.
Massage your ears. No, this is seriously not a joke. In fact, this will work for anxiety as well, along with allergies, headaches, addictions, inflammatory disease, pain disorder, etc. and as well as depression of course. It works because of pressure points. Just start by placing your thumbs on your cheekbones and use your fingertips to gently apply pressure and rub the temples, which is the soft spot between your eye and ears. Using very firm pressure and a tiny circular motion, gradually move your fingers up along your hairline until your fingers meet in the middle of your forehead then continue massaging your entire forehead and scalp as you inch along.
That’s my solution to share with you, something you can do anywhere, and anytime really. It is not a total cure, but it can bring you some temporary relief.
