Review of “The Fifth Wave”

On January 22, 2016, “The 5th Wave” was officially released to US theaters, and made over 38 million dollars in the box office. This movie is directed by J Blakeson and it also stars Chloe Grace Moretz as Cassie, Nick Robinson as Ben, Ron Livingston as Oliver, and Maggie Siff as Lisa.

The 5th Wave Movie is based on the 5th wave novel created by Rick Yancey’s. The film is a science fiction thriller film. It’s directed by J Blakeson. It’s also written by Graham King, Tobey Maguire, Lynn Harris, and Matthew Plouffe.

The storyline starts when waves of alien strategic invasion has devastated the world and the earth’s population is on the verge of extinction. Humankind is knocked back to the Stone Age. Cassie’s mother is dead from a changed plague by the Others (the Aliens). Cassie’s remaining family move into a neighboring refugee camp. The army comes in and says they are there to help. However, the army buses the kid out of the camp and promises to bus the adults out next. Cassie gets separated from her brother. Her brother is taken by the Army for care and protection. Her father and other survivors in Ohio are killed in a massacre by the army. Cassie scavenges her way through to the base to meet her 5-year-old brother, Sam. (Wikipedia)

You’ll have to see the movie to find out if she finds her brother! This seems like a pretty good movie. I can’t wait to see it, and find out too if she finds him.
