If you’ve ever needed to know how to draw things, play an instrument, or make grilled cheese, you’ve been on wikiHow. Wikihow is a website made to answer any and all questions you may have about anything and everything. If you look through some articles wikiHow has written, you know that there are some pretty strange articles on there. We decided to take some of our favorite articles and show them to you.
One extremely weird article that I found on wikiHow was a step-by-step guide on how to be a mermaid without using spells or witchcraft. This one was interesting to me because it was set up like a real, serious article. According to wikiHow, if you wish hard enough, you can be a mermaid. Another similar article told you how to convince people that you’re a vampire. Surprisingly, a lot of people can be fooled if you wear a lot of makeup and black clothes.
There’s a really great article called “How to Cast a Love Spell” from the comfort of your own home. There are many different versions of love spells that you can choose from, so if you decide to read this article, make sure you know what you want first. You will need some supplies such as candles, a working shower or bathtub, herbs, incense, and a few other magical things. I haven’t tried to cast this spell yet, but I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
One of the best articles I’ve ever seen was called “How To Calculate Pi with Frozen Hot Dogs”. All you need is a pen and paper, masking tape, a calculator, and a pack of frozen hot dogs. You line the masking tape on the ground, step back, and start throwing the hot dogs. You then keep track of how many hot dogs land on the tape. You then plug in the numbers to some weird formula, solve, and you have pi! Honestly, I was slightly confused when I found this. I’m curious about how they found this out? Did they frozen hot dogs and just so happen to stumble upon pi, or did they go into this experiment hoping to be able to calculate pi with frozen hot dogs? Unfortunately, this trick doesn’t always work, but usually it does.
There are articles like “How to Cook Food on Your Car’s Engine” where they literally tell you step by step how to cook anything that would normally require an oven on the engine of your car! Should you decide to do this, make sure that you wrap your food in a lot of tin foil to prevent potentially dangerous chemicals from contaminating your pork. Also, make sure you’re wearing oven mitts so you don’t get burned.
