GH Chooses Favorite NFL Team

This week I did a random survey with 50 Cougar students, asking them what their favorite football team is. Football is a very competitive and engaging sport that pulls the viewers and sucks them into the game. ( In a good way of course.) It is a sport that is loved by millions. It is played in high school, college, professionally, and some people even play for their town’s team. Since it is football season, I felt it was appropriate to do something relating to football.

Everyone knows the NFL football teams, so really there is no need to list them all.This is how the final count came down too. The most chosen football team was the Green Bay Packers with 10 students. San Francisco 49ers had 5 students choose it. Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, and the San Diego Chargers had 4 students choose it. Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants had 3. Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots had 2. Sadly, the Dallas Cowboys only had one person pick them as their favorite.

We had come to the conclusion that the Green Bay Packers won the majority of the votes because they are a really good team. If I had been able to participate in this survey, I would have most likely chosen the Green Bay Packers or the San Francisco 49ers. Mr. Aburto is famous for his unwavering support of the Raiders, and Mr. Arnt is a lifelong Chargers fan. Maybe people chose these football teams because they had grown up with them. Or that’s just what they like. However what we do know, is that football is a very beloved sport and will always be throughout more generations to come.
